Debbie and I came back from the Soyo hike at 5:20 which left us with about one hour to get out of our smelly hiking gear, hop in the shower, dry our hair, apply our make up, put on our garb, hop in a taxi and make it to the Grand Hilton. In spite of having only one bathroom, one hair dryer and one mirror with good light, we made it - and made it in style. Here's Debbie looking like a half-indian princess and standing out amidst the mess of my apartment - complete with discarded hiking backpack and boots, dressy sandals, gaping cupboards and open doors.
