Just two wisecracks for now
The pic was taken by Jenn at Humayan's Tomb in Delhi. I see it and I think Anne Geddes, except I'm not such a cute baby and I'm in the centre of beautiful latticed window, not flower.
Oh, my. It's been so long since I wrote anything on these pages.
Since then, I've been to India and now I'm back, very reluctantly. I've been floating on the cloud of not knowing how to begin my Seoul life yet again.
There are so many things to write about, but as of now I'm not feeling the urge.
I just want to share two pieces of wisdom I learned in India:
1. While watching a TV travelling show in a hotel room in The Good Palace, Delhi:
"I hate feeling at home when I am abroad" - by G. B. Shaw.
This statement is so lucid, it calls for a good look of modern day tourism, Club Med and 'the comfort you are used to in an exotic location.'
2. While sitting in the back of a bicycle rickshaw, from the driver with teeth stained brown and burgundy: "Madame, no worry, no hurry, chicken curry."
Madame has so many things to do, but all she's been doing is watching TV and daydreaming.
I'll be back soon, I hope, with words and pics from Incredible India.
